Thai Binh Department of Agriculture & Rural Development is a specialized agency providing consultation for the Province’s People Committee to govern different agricultural activities including: farming; foresting; salt production; aquaculture; irrigation; rural development; disaster prevention, preparedness, and response; food quality and sanitary, agricultural supporting services, and other areas in accordance with the Province’s People Committee or the Province’s President.

Cooperation with CAP:

Currently, CAP is implementing two important projects funded by Thai Binh Department of Agricultrure and Rural Development, namely Thai Binh agriculture restructuring scheme and Policy piloting on developing cooperative and farmers’ groups in Vietnam’s agriculture commercialization – case study of rice sector in Thai Binh province.
